The Punisher #14

In New York, the Met closes, a jogger runs by, and Frank Castle gets his usual hot dog. The guard at the museum sets the alarm while a power plant employee does a phone callers bidding. He flips the breaker and the city blacks out. Frank hears a scream,  blasts the nuts off a Central Park rapist and hears another gunshot in the distance.
What luck!

At the Met, some burglars murder the guard and demand the curator bring them to the vault. She does so, and they open fire on more guards. Soon they're at the final door. It opens and with the loot in hand, the goons take off ruining.
They hear one of their conspirators' radios going haywire. All it takes is a moment of hesitation and the Punisher drives a sword through one of their skulls. They call the getaway driver and let him know what's happening. He drives through the window and the gang crawls in. Suddenly a hooptie with the Punisher Skull emblem gives chase. The van drives into the lake and Frank dives below.
This is probably the actual page that made me realize it was time to go.

Once he rescues the curator, they realize one of them got away. He meets up with his boss and when he opens the package, it turns out to be a severed head. He throws the goon out the Window and Frank goes back to the power plant guy. He pulls the electrical wires, telling the guy he heard he likes electricity. With that - this issue comes to a close.
Bye, Frank.

This has to be the worst comic book in all of the Marvel universe. Becky Cloonan, who from what I've gathered from her portfolio actually has some talent, HAS to be trolling the publishers who look to be asleep at the wheel. The art is bad. The writing is bad. This comic book is bad. I don't know WHY I follow this book and I'll be switching to some other title in the very near future. I give it a 2/10 and until something changes, bid The Punisher a fond farewell.
