Commisioner Gordon dresses for two separate meetings, both against the advice of Batman. His invite was accepted by the Riddler with a 37 page letter, and with the Joker on the back of a dead body. And both meetings teaming with their accomplices, they both asked for Batman. His plan involves rushing in but Gordon waits for federal intervention.
Take a chill pill, Bats. The commish has got this. Right?

Every villain in Gotham had been approached - with only the cat outlasting them all. All the while, she knew Batman was near. When cornered, she lied. And still escaped with the diamonds she was stealing.
Cat gets the diamonds.

Riddler sends Deathstroke and Joker sends Deadshot - both with rifles to take out Batman. But they spot each other. They fire and the bullets collide in midair. Over the next five days, their ensuing battle kills 62 people before Batman finally catches up with them. Their battle is fierce but in the end, Batman is victorious. The issue concludes with Gordon telling him the feds came in to clean up Gotham PD's mess. Joker announced over their radios he went to buy some camo uniforms but couldn't find any. Riddler calls Gordon directly. He's ready whenever they are. With that, this issue is left to be continued.
POW!

Even though this entire arc is taking place in the past, it's nice to have an issue in it where it directly unfolds in real time. Tom King is pretty straight forward in a nice change of pace, and the art is nice and dark.. just like Batman should be. I thought it was pretty good. I give this one a 9/10.
