Old Man Logan #17

Puck rescues Logan from space after losing consciousnesses. He continuously drifts between the present and the past, looking for Kang in Niagra Falls, who took Bruce Banner's grandson that he helped raise.. and.. yeah. I know. Sounds a little tough to follow. When he wakes up, Puck reminds him they're on a mission to save Alpha Flight from the Brood - a race of aliens who've taken over a space station.
They board the station but Logan continues to remember the villain uprising past he can't shake. Puck in the past tells Logan that Alpha Flight were all killed by the warlord of the wastelands. Logan senses Kang nearby, who tells him he took the baby to stop him from becoming the Warlord... who then walks out of the shadows and begins to beat Logan mercilessly. Puck pulls him back to the present telling him none of this is real. That they did go back to the station but they encountered another ship from X-haven and the person responsible for Logan's past and present drifting problem. A horrifying version of Jean Gray appears in the portal and slowly flies toward them...and with that the issue comes to a close.
This was a somewhat hard to follow issue but I still dug it regardless. It's strange to me that some of these books portray Kang as a classic comic villain, but Lemire is able to make him seem almost human. Quite a cool way to paint him and I can't wait to see what happens next. I give this issue a 10/10 as usual.
