THE STRANGERS CAME TODAY

   5000 years into the future, the last inhuman walks behind the last accuser with their human rider in tow. He falls and the two inhumans move onward without him. In the present, Swain and Medusa marvel at the Asterion - completely repaired and even enhanced by the Plex Intelligence. Meanwhile, Crystal says her goodbyes to her former husband Ronan. It's a painful parting, and even though he has tried his best to forgive himself, he cannot. He asks his teary eyed ex-wife to leave him.

Beat it!

   The Asterion is airborne. Crystal still upset, the ever irritating Maximus makes wisecrack after another until Medusa slams him into the wall. They disembark on Centauri 4, home of the universal inhumans and the former queen greets them with Maximus in chains. She tells them her husband is no longer King either, and it was by her own doing - an action she'll soon die for. Tricked by her brother-in-law and now bonded to her, her prisoner will die with her. But the reason for their visit is the quest for the skyspears.

...but enough about all that. What we really need are these...

   The council asks for a moment alone with Medusa. They grant the rest of the Inhumans the tour while some weird horse guy tells Gorgon that warriors go with him to I guess get all hammered. His back pain flares and he's brought to the ground. The horse-man calls for a medic but realizes he and the injured inhuman are being ambushed. He pulls his sword and is immediately vaporized.

A horse-man can't even pull a sword anymore. What kinda world...?!

   The issue concludes with a horde of Snarks standing over Gorgon. Now convinced Centuari 4 is a weapon world, their war begins. And with that we're left to be continued.
   After the last few tomes I've been reading it's nice to read one that's quick and to the point. Marvel Boy has some ulterior motives seeing that he lives all the way to the end of time with Maximus, but now that kree homeworld is restored - what are they? Skyspears have been falling to earth since the last few Inhuman books. what they plan to do with them is a mystery and I'm looking forward to them being more fully explained. I give this one an 8/10.
