In the Wastelands, Old Man Logan and Old Man Hawkeye protect the family's crop from a recent pig poacher when someone approaches. In the present however, Logan wakes up after being chained to a stone pillar. His consciousness is brief though as the Hulk Gang machine guns him. Later over some beers, they debate whether they should tell the maestro that he's been captured.
I dunno... I just kinda feel like we should tell somebody about this.

Meanwhile, the sympathetic Cambria interrupts the Maestro dismantling an atomic missile. She asks why the goal has to be ending ALL of mankind when it's explained the humans started the war by killing Banner. She leaves, worried about her missing simpleton brother who was unbeknownst to her, murdered. The old man sends a child after her to spy.
Back in the woods, Logan wakes again and hurls insult after insult at a hulk until he's baited into punching the column. It collapses and the mutant kills him.
Yeah? Well you're so dumb you won't knock this big concrete thing over!

Later he scrambles into nearby shed where after the gang knocks it down, is able to surprise them with round after round from a gatling gun. Before the last hulk dies, he asks what the maestro is doing with the nukes. He tells him, and Logan turns to walk away but passes out.
I'm just gonna walk over here and - nevermind.

At the compound, the child sent on recon returns to inform the Maestro that Cambria has fled. The old man thanks him, hulks up and goes to address the crowd. Due to her presumed betrayal, the strike has been moved up to the next 72 hours. The issue ends with Logan waking up from a long sleep. He's surprised to see the young Hawkeye standing before him. He offers a cup of coffee and asks what's going on. With that, we're left to be continued.
The hulk gang is an interesting group of enemies. The only sad thing is that I fear their time is short, which is kind of sad. Hopefully they dust them off sometime between now and what I sincerely hope is a youth movement to our favorite clawed mutant. I guess only time will tell. For this one, I give it a 9/10.
