It's a Velentine's Day to remember for Deadpool, who gets yet another reminder that Madcap is still out there when he opens a mysterious heart shaped box. He runs it over to Preston for a SHIELD DNA match before meeting Shiklah for a date... where she of course stabs him in the neck. The next morning he hops out of their bed and heads for the address where Preston got a hit for. He goes to the address and starts beating a waiter to death before finding the right guy. After some discussion, Deadpool heads to the address of the missing man's brother. He opens the door and after some minor searching, finds the worst of inner-mind demons - Madcap. Just about to sever his head, he realizes something isn't right and pulls the mask off. There sits Adam Kipiniak, brother of the deceased. Speaking into the hidden mic, Deadpool tells Madcap he has a way to stop him for good. How that is is left to be revealed in another issue.
Two good issues in a row. Duggan is doing work and the artwork in this book is pretty sharp as well. Though I still think they publish this title way too frequently, this is a pretty good story and I look forward to the next. I give it a 8/10.
Back at Preston's apartment, she returns after a date with Shane and relieves her babysitter, Agent Phil Coulson. The three of them discuss how to end the Madcap and Deadpool situations. Shane says they have some radical solutions and with that, the issue wraps.
