At the local supermax facility for incarcerated supervillains, some goons consider who to take out next. That man turns out to be Lee Price, the most recent former Venom. They threaten him but make a costly mistake. He beats them soundly saving the biggest loudmouth for last.
Wait here while I go get my alien back.

Meanwhile in the city, Venom hides in the shadows. He attacks a guy trying to hire a cop to do his dirty work. As the symbiote rages and threatens to eat his brain, Eddie Brock keeps it at bay and escapes. Later he takes his meds, an injection from the Alchemax Corp that keeps the madness under control. Knowing he needs more money and resources to feed the alien's addiction, he tries to get a job as a writer at the Fact Channel and the editor gives him some positive news.. Eddie then takes the alien into the sewers and the dinosaur people welcome him back as their savior. He smells meat but sees what they're cooking: a moloid. Venom warns them that they're never alone. Suddenly they burst in, attacking with a massive, hulking lizard. Venom tries to reason with them but is chomped on and swallowed. The dino-folk try and rescue him but he eventually explodes through the creature's skin.
AWESOME!!!

Venom orders the battle to stop, and gives the dead moloid back to his people. He offers them peace and he and the dinosaurs agree to eat the dead lizard monster but never again. Meanwhile a mystery man asks for a report over speakerphone, trying to figure out his next move. He sees the paper announcing the existence of dinosaurs in the sewers. We finally see who it is... Kraven The Hunter prepares for his next conquest and with that, this issue is concluded.
Is this appropriate for NYC?

This book marks Venom's venture into Marvel Legacy, and although I'm fairily familiar with this title, it's a great time for new readers to get in. Now that I'm going to read it regularly, it's being added to my regular subscription list and I have to say, it's exciting. I'm a fan of quicker reads and this title delivers. Teetering on the rim of the Spiderverse, Venom allows us to keep tabs on one of the webcrawlers greatest enemies as he figures out the merits of good vs evil. I'm looking forward to it as it expands. I give this one a 9/10.
