Clark mentions to Lois that Hunter is gone, when suddenly he doubles over in pain. Aquaman, fresh with a load of kryptonite from Batman's lair, incapacitates him. Lois recognizes him as he walks through a portal with Superman.
Not a whole lot of people can make Superman their bitch.

Meanwhile Wonder Woman goes back to where the the Justice League once heard the Kindred's song while the children from the future plot their attack. She can still hear the broadcast as Cruz runs up behind her, turning to block it and later fighting off her son's blade. Back on the Kent farm, Batman arrives and helps Lois up while Green Lantern Jessica wakes a sleeping Flash. She's barely able to mention the children's recent absence when a temporal grenade flies through the window. Aquaman puts his fist in his face as it wears off, and quickly knocks out Jess.

At the foundry, Cyborg walks through looking for Cube when Aquaman freezes him, opens a boom tube and pulls him through. Back at the farm, Lois explains to Batman about the future children, in addition to promise to have further conversations about the kryptonite he's been keeping. In Nova Scotia, Wonder Woman puts a sword to Hunter's neck. Cube then booms to Midway City where again, I'm not sure what is going on. Either way, what I assume is the fear thing from earlier on expands and upon the command of Baz, explodes all over Wonder Woman.

GROSS!

The issue wraps in Amnesty Bay, where Mara finds her daughter watching the sunrise. She tells her mother that they died fighting when nervously mentions her father. He suddenly walks up and Serenity tells him she'll kill him if he hurts her mother. He says he'd never hurt her and he's sorry.. but apparently his new wife Sovereign is reclaim everything she lost. What that means will have to wait though as this issue is left to be continued.
I said in the previous issue that it's impressive that they've managed to keep this entire series intertwined for so many issues. It's a little irritating though that if you don't have the entire series in memory, some of it gets a little murky. I think I know what's going on but some of it is a little bizarre and unexplained. Either way, it's still definitely worth the read. i give this one an 8/10.
