Ulysses sits in his quarters under observation by Carol Danvers. He awakens with a new prophecy, only this time it involves both the X-Man formerly known as Wolverine and the one still going by that name. Meanwhile back in New York, Logan wakes up on Laura's couch. Clearly disoriented, he finds himself tied to the furniture with Gabby and Jonathan the real, actual wolverine staring at him. Laura comes in and unties him just in time for them to engage a few burglars whom they make quick work of.
Afterwards Logan and Laura have a conversation. Logan has always knew he screwed up when he tried to raise her. Coming back from his dystopian future gives him one more chance to screw it all up. He tries to discuss Gabby but Laura stops him. Suddenly her phone rings and it's Maria Hill. She tells him that a team is on the way. Logan realizes they're being boxed in and pops out the window to see Captain America and a SHIELD team. Maria tells Laura they think Logan is there to kill Gabby, and with that, the issue ends.
This is still probably the worst book I'm reading in the Marvel universe. It's like a trainwreck at this point and I can't look away. I give it a 5/10.
