Old Man Logan #7

The Reavers have finally found the man once known as the Wolverine. After murdering a few of the townsfolk of Killhorn Falls to lure him out, they've finally made the mistake of unleashing him, as his first order of business involves putting his claws through the head of the first hostage taker, and slicing off the head of the next. He knows their leader. Lady Deathstrike can't be too far behind, so he runs towards her, once again preparing for the fight of his now pretty old life.
He finds her holding the young girl who will one day and in some future timeline, become his wife Maureen, as well as her mother. Deathstrike has a proposal, telling Logan he can choose which one gets the axe. Just as she prepares for her murderous blow, the sheriff shoots her from behind, distracting her long enough for the hostages to flee. As Logan and one of his oldest foes fight to the death, she reveals why she had to attack with such a half-cooked plan... she simply had to beat the others to him. What happens next is clearly some of Sorrentino's best artwork of this series, as the berserker within this old man comes roaring out with a vengeance. He slices off her hands, plants both clawed fists in her back, and completely loses consciousness in a rage and blood filled fury..
When he comes to, the sheriff explains that the remaining baddies took off on a helicopter and Maureen and her mother are locked away in their house. Logan knows when it's time to make an exit. He burns the dead Reavers' bodies and decides it's time to move on. There's no such thing as rest for him as they'll keep coming. So from here out, it's chaos. And this time he's coming for them all.
This is one of the best books Marvel has right now. At the time of it's publishing it was only the 45th best selling book which is criminal. One of the most entertaining right now, going away. I give it a 10/10.
