Wolverine learns from Kitty Pryde that some Krakoan flowers are being used on the mainlands for some nefarious purposes. But before that plot point can be solved, Omega Red comes bounding through a portal seeking amnesty. Wolverine goes on a mission to Paris and discovers what one of his greatest enemies is talking about.. a horde of vampires. Problem is thought that Omega Red is a double agent, and he works for king vampire himself, Dracula.
Wolvie teams up with undercover CIA agent Jeff Bannister but unfortunately tries to kill him thanks to the psychic powered Pale Girl. So he steals Magneto’s psychic dampening helmet and storms a Russian drug ship, destroying the Krakoan pollen ring.
What’s left though is the vampire issue. Wolverine is attacked by a gang of mutant hating humans in a Canadian tavern, but it essentially just sets up an attack by Omega Red. He puts the mobile blood bank on tap but luckily some rogue vampire teens decide to set the berserker free. They lead an assault on the 2 vamps leading a Dracula fueled revolution. The arc ends by Wolverine taking out the 2 vamp luitenents but Omega Red and Dracula live another day...
