X-Men #1-6

X-MEN #1-6

In a series of stores that goes all over the place while still managing to keep everything in check, Jonathan Hickman has proven that he’s the real deal. Obviously after the events of creating Krakoa, nothing is going to come easy. Hickman touches on that while navigating both some visitors from the Savage Land as well as some creepy plant obsessed horticulturalists.
Plus dealing with espionage as well as a missing mutant from the Vault, this one really checked all the boxes. Everybody is coming for Krakoa and what Magneto and weird, young helmet classed Xavier have built. But in the immortal words of Omar Little, if you come for the king, you best not miss. I give this one an easy 10/10.
