Bruce lies in the hospital surrounded by his mind controlled friends and Harley Quinn alike. Meanwhile Poison Ivy and Catwoman walk through her garden. Selina tells her friend Pam that the murders she committed for Riddler weren't her fault. Bruce equally tries to tell her that she's hurt but she'll have none of it.

Thanks for the concern, Bruce... but...

But it's not Batman, nor Catwoman who will help her. It's Harley. Bruce infers the two of them are very much alike. She ponders this and Catwoman uses the distraction to kick the crap out of her. Selina works to wake her while Bruce equally tries to wake Harley.

Hey, look over there! BOOM!

Bruce picks up Harley among his knocked out superfriends and leaps from the window, landing in the Batmobile. he tells Harley to say she wants to meet with Ivy, using Superman's hearing as a conduit. It woprks, and before long, he's walking a newly renewed Dr. Harleen to meet with her old partner.

Sup, girlfriend?

They embrace, and Harley tells her it's ok to be hurt. Batman asks her to release everyone, later explaining that it was Riddler who killed the men in the park, not her. He killed them and lied to her about it.

It's ok, crazy person infused with plants...

The issue wraps with Bruce and Selina about to hit the sheets. She's concerned about them - with all they've been through, are they gonna be ok. Bruce assures her they will and with that, this issue comes to a conclusion.

Brain injuries and leaping out hospital windows can't keep the Bat down.

Tom King continues to deliver, finding a way to include even the most notorious characters in recent DC history and make them even better. Nobody is one sided, either. Catwoman, Ivy, Harley and even Bruce, he's able to develop multiple characters in ways most writers can't touch. There's no question why this book stays at the top of the charts. I give this one a 10/10.
