The battle between Earth's vampires rages but ends with Ghost Rider refusing to kill vampire children, but forced to take on the rest of his teammates. What will happen next? Jason Aaron and David Marquez once again do not disappoint as this stellar story arc continues to grow legs. I give this one a 10/10.

THE FINAL GAUNTLET pt II

  While the Black Order continues the search for Thanos' head, Peter Quill does what he can to keep the new Guardians' sane. It isn't enough though for the Rider however, who leaves the squad to join the Dark Guardians. Their mission is to kill Gamora, a mission also shared by it's newest members Gladiator, Nebula and Thanos' brother, Eros. So can she stay safe with so many people searching for her? Donny Cates continues to show he's a rightful heir to Gerry Duggan's histroic run on this series. I give this one a 9/10.

All throughout the prison, they slowly take step after step and systematically take it over, one wing at a time. Once he triggers the explosion, it's official. The Punisher has the prison.. so what happens next? Matthew Rosenburg and Szymon Kidranski continue making the perfect Punisher book. I give this one a 10/10.

A BOY AND HIS ALL FATHER

   With the War of the Realms looming, Odin proves to his son just how terrible of an all father he's been. The two slug it out over the course of one very long comic book, one which also reveals strife between Loki and his frost giant father, King Laufey. In the end, Odin seeks advice from Iron Man, who knows a thing or two about hitting rock bottom. Jason Aaron continues penning a masterpiece while Mike Del Mundo.. um, keeps Del Mundo-ing...? I give this one an 8/10.

SINS OF THE FATHER pt IV

   Mysterio begs Hawkeye for help, explaining that he was forced into helping Miss Sinister against his will. The Avenger brings him to a still ailing Logan while the Sin and her goons try to track down their former co-conspirator. The issue ends with the master of illusion bringing the X-Men to Miss Sinister's doorstep. But with Hydra goons blasting, what'll happen next? Ed Brission and Mike Henderson keep this fast paced story moving in the right direction. I give this one an 8/10.

   Spider-Man saves Aunt May from the restaurant's wreckage, but isn't able to do the same for new friend, the Rhino or old friend Ned Leeds. The cloned husband of Betty Brandt begs for him to protect her as he dies in the webslingers arms. Meanwhile Taskmaster and Black Ant deliver the Rhino to Arcade and Kraven. So what happens next? Nick Spencer continues to deliver a great story that luckily Chris Bachalo's pencils begin to finally arise to the occasion. I give this one a 9/10.

Uncanny X-Men #11

THIS IS FOREVER pt I

   The X-Men are presumed dead. But one X-Man who surprisingly isn’t isn’t dead anymore is Cyclops. He meanders drunkenly through town encountering the suicidal Blindfold, the Avengers, eventually the Reavers, Purifyers and the Sapien League. But his end is interrupted by Wolverine. This oversized issue covers Scott’s return as well as Wolverine’s from various points of view. Incredibly well-written, I think at this point, Matthew Rosenberg isn’t just the writer Uncanny X-Men needed... He’s the writer Uncanny X-Men deserved. I give this one a 10/10.
